FAQ
Why abroad?

Students study at British boarding schools to improve their English and enjoy benefits like close teacher-student relationships, individualized support, extracurricular activities, independence, and making friends from around the world.
How much does a stay at a British Boarding School cost?

British boarding schools set their tuition fees individually, so they vary widely. Per term, a stay costs between €9,000 and €15,000. This includes tuition, all school materials, room and board, and round-the-clock supervision.
How early should I organise my stay abroad?

Normally, registration should take place about a year in advance, but many schools accept students later, too. Contact us, we know which schools have remaining places.
Is it also possible to stay in America, Australia or another country?

Yes - our expertise is British boarding schools, but we also work with other international partners and can organise stays in other countries, too.
Will my child need a visa for a stay in the UK?

For stays of less than six months in the UK, a visa is not required, only a valid passport and some documents (e.g. school attendance certificate). All students staying in the UK for longer than six months must apply for a Child Student Visa and pay an insurance fee under the National Health Service.
Will my time abroad be recognised in my home country?
What do I have to consider when I return?

The intention to go abroad should be communicated to the school in a timely manner. The recognition of assessments from abroad as well as any subsequent examinations in core subjects will be determined by the South Tyrolean school.

What additional costs shall we expect?

Additional costs include: Instrumental lessons, flights as well as transportation costs to or from the airport, a so-called guardian if you do not have friends or family in the UK who can take over this role.
How can you offer free consultations for stays abroad?

British boarding schools recruit international students and pay experts a commission on successful admissions. Families can receive this service for free, creating a win-win situation.

Application process

01
During an initial meeting (in person or online), you tell us about your ideas, individual wishes and interests, as well as the desired length of stay.
02
We then create an overview of five suitable schools with all relevant details such as school focus, type of accommodation, price, sports or artistic offerings, etc.
03
From these five schools, you select three that you would like to look at in detail.
04
We will put you in contact with the schools, organise online meetings or personal visits and assist you step by step in choosing the right school.
